Its leaders started with an audit of the system they already had

The manufacturer runs finance and supply chain on Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management, with Power Platform workflows and an Azure data warehouse alongside it. The system was already live, and its leaders’ first decision was an audit of it.

The audit looked at how changes move from development into production and at the scheduled batch jobs the system depends on. It found improvements needed in both.

The fixes cut code conflicts and improved data integrity

Configuration changes followed the audit. They streamlined workflows, reduced code conflicts, and improved the integrity of the data the business works from.

One senior team now handles issues across the whole system

The manufacturer then moved to managed services with Ludia Care. Its service agreement covers support levels 2 through 4, which is everything past the first help-desk call.

Support spans the whole system, from finance and supply chain to the data warehouse and the batch jobs. When something breaks, its users escalate straight to senior people who can fix it.

Support work is scheduled around the business to lower the risk of disruption. The same team handles routine maintenance and keeps the system current. When it helps, Microsoft FastTrack is brought in to keep the configuration aligned with Microsoft’s recommended practices.

Its leaders chose to expand support about 75%

They made that call in 2025. The manufacturer buys support in flexible prepaid blocks of hours, so the support budget is predictable and can grow with the business.

The model is proactive. The team troubleshoots in real time, improves workflows in Power Platform, and enhances the data warehouse.

Sales, procurement, and quality teams got reports built for their work

In late 2025, the manufacturer upgraded the reports those three teams use. New fields went in where the teams needed them, such as a Delay Note field for operational and compliance needs.

Every change went through the manufacturer’s own Azure DevOps workflow.

Ludia’s part: the audit of the live system and the fixes that followed, then Ludia Care managed services with senior support across the whole system. Ludia brought in Microsoft FastTrack where it helped and delivered the report upgrades inside the manufacturer’s Azure DevOps workflow.

For your IT team: what the audit and the support covered

The audit covered DevOps management and batch processing in Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management. Ludia Care provides L2 to L4 support, with issue resolution across Finance and Supply Chain Management, Power Platform, and the Azure data warehouse. It also covers batch-job management, lifecycle management, and direct escalation paths.

The 2025 report work enhanced the SSRS reporting suite for sales, procurement, and quality operations and added custom fields such as Delay Note. All of it was delivered through the client’s Azure DevOps workflows.
